Fall is just around the corner here in the Pacific Northwest. The weather is getting cooler and that only means one thing: fall fashion is making it’s yearly comeback! Shopping for clothes is always fun, but there’s something about fall fashion that really gets me excited. When I’m building up my toddler’s wardrobe, I look for pieces that are stylish, versatile, and well made. The collections from Janie and Jack are just that and then some!

This season, I wanted to include lots of items I could dress up or down. The Janie and Jack Gallery Muse collection was exactly what I was looking for. The clothes are both polished and playful, and I just adore the “artsy” feel! My little one fell in love with this floral corduroy dress the second she saw it. We paired it with navy riding boots and a lovely white bow headband. The entire look felt so complete and truly made her shine!

Adventures by the Dock

Temperatures dropped a bit this weekend, so we decided to spend the afternoon in downtown Tacoma, at the Museum of Glass. Elsie donned her new outfit and off we went. Once we arrived, she could hardly be stopped. She ran up and down the walkway, watching the boats and splashing in puddles. Her new riding boots kept her feet dry and the breeze didn’t bother her one bit, thanks to the warm corduroy material of her dress. She explored as much as she could before it was time to head home. Just as we were leaving, the sun peeked through the clouds, and we watched the sunset by the water. A perfect way to end the day.
